Just got a link to this and already loving it. Such a good story about roots that were roots and influenced so many and now available again for all collectors and fans: Sound 'n' Pressure Story by Various Artists Inspired by the first wave of UK produced Digi Roots and Dub he was hearing at Nick Manasseh’s Roots Rock Reggae sessions at London’s Dingwalls and Jah Shaka dances, reggae lover and club promoter Anthony Cummins got together with friends Adam Holden (Fish), Mark Evans (Suffurah) and Hamish Brown (All Nation Rockers), to see about getting some studio time and trying their hand at creating their own music. We’ve been listening to some hot new dub, roots and reggae releases coming out via Juno’s web player which a nice quick way to quickly skip thru all the releases. Definite highlight was Sound Iration’s “The Dubz: Exclusive Mixes & Unreleased Material” – now on a hot 180gram 2x lp – we’ll have to save up for that one.
