Link Request Dub

Posted by: dublinator Posted onMay 3, 2006 Comments: 0

Folks we are being in-undated (that means we get ~10-15 emails a day about links) with link requests faster than we can check them out and post them on dub.com. Would it be a good idea to post them here first and see what the feedback is like on each and then decide? You can log-in and post a comment. Also – if you see a link that is broken or domain squatted (i.e. you get a search page or some bullshit) let us know. We don’t want to waste your time looking at crap sites.

Yeah its not the kind of ad they show on the telly in america. Nice bit of Mr Perry “the creator of dub” he he… Dubbing around Dublin, in Stephen’s Green talking to the ducks, in the pub having a swift one. Seems like Guinness got the man to do a bunch of these ads, is it just me or doesn’t seem like an easy job for the copywriter? “Eh… Lee… waddya think about ehhh dem Aliens then Lee?”

Check out dub creating and version mixing over at Anchormix.com : “…The goal was to pay tribute to two dub heavyweights while using the songs as elements themselves and weaving in the vocal talents of Omnibus MC. In a four-round clash, DJ’s Andren and Scott Allen took turns re-mixing, looping and dubbing each track into a brand new song. Our modern take on dub is to remix the dub tracks on the fly and create a ‘dub soundscape’ that, when mixed with live vocals provides a live element that can never be recreated.”
